We have an excellent opportunity for a Fundraising/Sales Director, Youth Market in our Greater Bay Area Division serving Butte, Humboldt, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Sonoma, Sutter and Tehama Counties. Position will be based in our San Francisco or Burlingame office.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage schools within the geographic territory to implement Jump Rope For Heart and Hoops For Heart, major fundraising initiatives for the American Heart Association, as well as other related projects.
  • Cultivate and recruit new schools for participation
  • Recruit, train and motivate volunteers in Youth Market products and services.
  • Building strong relationships with volunteers including School Districts, Principals, Teachers and Parent Teacher Associations
  • Responsible for a fundraising goal of $239,000 (gross).

Required Experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and training
  • 2+ years outside sales or fundraising experience
  • Strong outside sales, cold-calling and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a results oriented fund raising/sales environment
  • Self-starter who recognizes value of a team
  • Willing and able to travel extensively within given territory. Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance and personal vehicle
  • Able to lift 15-20 lbs to transport supplies and materials
  • Knowledge of school markets a plus.
