Position Summary:
Stages product in designated areas (grocery, freezer, or other as assigned) and replenishes selections slots using a forklift. Move pallets from Receiving to Reserve locations using PIV equipment.
Essential Functions:
Removes empty pallets from selection areas and delivers them to an assigned area.
Replenishes selection slots as needed based on demand or suggested schedule. Updates inventory by scanning pallets and cases.
Places inbound freight in appropriate reserve or pick slots.
Assists the Selection and Shipping departments with pallet picks and take-outs.
Completes assigned pallet moves before the end of the shift.
Completes housekeeping activities on a daily basis.
Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Must be able to work independently or within a team environment.
Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.
