This role involves responsibility for the design, integrity and quality of an Information Systems (IS) solution and of associated IS services delivered to business and support functions as well as IS Technology domains. This role will be on-site at the Roswell, GA location with the possibility of a flexible work schedule once trained. As an SAP Inhouse Consultant specializing in PP/Logistics (Production Planning), your role involves a range of responsibilities related to designing, implementing and developing solutions in the SAP environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Design, Implementation and Optimization: Lead the design, implementation, and development of solutions within the SAP environment, focusing on PP and logistic processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions
  • Drive digitalization initiatives and optimize existing processes in PP and logistics
  • Project Management: Manage projects and sub projects related to SAP implementations and enhancements
  • Ensure project timelines, budgets and deliverables are met
  • Documentation and Training: Maintain continuous documentation of implemented solutions
  • Conduct user training for a seamless transition
  • Communication and Collaboration: Act as a contact person and interface between departments, the headquarters and external partners
Your background

  • Business management and/or information technology education and minimum 5 years, but preferably 10 years experience
  • Solid experience in SAP module PP and logistic processes, including customization
  • Familiarity with configuring and optimizing processes within these modules
  • ABAP and especially debugging knowledge would be an advantage
  • Project Management Experience: Proven experience in leading SAP projects
  • Solution and Process Oriented Approach: Holistic, solution oriented approach to address business challenges
  • Cross functional thinking to integrate SAP solutions across business functions
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
