The Jobat aGlance

As our SolderingTechnician you will be part of a team providing quality workmanship to our customers. You will be responsible for inspecting, testing, diagnosing, and repairing consumer products that are sent into Encompass Supply Chain Solutions for repair.

A Typical Day

• Troubleshoot, repair and test complex circuit boards to component level
• Solder and de-solder various circuit boards
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and diagnostic manuals
• Process completed RMA's, customer orders and inventory transactions in database system.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers to attain hardware specifics.

To Land This Opportunity

• You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• You have 2+ years of experience of electronic component troubleshooting/repair (a plus, not a must)
• You have experience in soldering/de-soldering through-hole and surface mount technology
• You are able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
• You enjoy having the flexibility to sit or stand to perform your job
• You are a tech wizard - your nightstand books are technical manuals, instructions, and procedures
• You get satisfaction in working independently
• You pride yourself on being proficient with internet and Microsoft Office applications
• You enjoy solving problems and every detail has your full attention

• You havegreatcommunication skills & you're proficient in English (verbal and written)
