Routine Business Responsibilities

  • Manage and support compliance oversight of PFS' Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Fraud related risks in US and Canada.
  • Develop organizational strategies for implementation of standardized processes regarding the identification, monitoring, andreporting of unusual cases to achieve a holistic fraud strategy (including but not limited to: identification of fraud patterns, indications for money laundering, and countermeasures) in PFSUS and PFS Canada.
  • Support the development of PFS AML and Fraud Strategy including drafting and reviewing Directives and regulation documents for PFSUS and PFS Canada.
  • Identify controls and monitoring activities to ensure that business practices and procedures provide a sufficient control environment to manage regulatory risks and gaps are appropriately addressed.
  • Manage the PFSUS and PFS Canada AML Risk Assessment processes and ensure coordination of documentation for reporting to PFSD.
  • Support the Anti-Money Laundering Coordinator as deputy for PFSUS and PFS Canada to ensure compliance with applicable AML laws and regulations
  • Provide project oversight and management for projects within and outside of the PFS Compliance & Business Integrity department.
  • Assist First and Second Lines of Defense in review and development of procedures, policies, processes, and training materials, to help identify enhancements and new processes for implementation in support of PFS AML and Fraud Prevention Strategy.
  • Support the preparation and submission of bi-annual Fraud and AML Compliance data to the Board of Directors or Shareholder's Committee of PFSUS and PFS Canada.
  • Manage the PFS AML and Fraud Strategy and assist with identification of potential regulatory violations and compliance and/or operational risks.
  • Mitigate AML and Fraud risks through review of customer complaints, case management, monitoring and detection, and assist in the performance of root-cause analysis.
  • Establish communications and processes for AML and Fraud Prevention in North American entities
  • Assist in management of regulatory examinations and audits.

Fraud

  • Manage day-to-day oversight of fraud alerts and topics for PFSUS and PFS Canada that prevent, detect, and mitigate fraud risks.
  • Manage deep-dive review process of fraudulent red flags and alerts.
  • Responsible for development of processes to assist business in identification and mitigation of Fraud Prevention risks

Transaction Monitoring

  • Manage review process of watchlist screening alerts.
  • Oversee processes for AML monitoring/detection
  • Manage day-to-day review of suspicious payment monitoring processes.
  • Oversee quality assurance review of AML watchlist and payment review processes.

Investigations

  • Manage and delegate case specific assignments to the Fraud and AML Compliance team or PFSUS or PFS Canada operational departments as appropriate.
  • Manage day-to-day process of thorough investigations of potentially suspicious activities including money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes.
  • Responsible for SAR Filing decisioning process and documentation.
  • Provide quality assurance review of "no SAR" decisions to ensure proper support and documentation.

Training

  • Responsible for identification, organization, and conduction of PFSNA AML and Fraud Prevention Awareness ad-hoc training topics. *
  • Manage ad hoc training reporting to Senior Leadership Team, PFSNA Quarterly Compliance Committee and PFSUS/PFS Canada Board of Directors. *
  • Ensure adherence to training requirements, including proper escalation to address any training deficiencies identified within PFS US or PFS Canada.

Reporting

  • Responsible for documenting, preparing and presenting findings of PFS Fraud and AML data during PFSNA Quarterly Compliance Committee meetings, as well as ad hoc reporting to PFS Germany (PFSD) or Porsche AG (PAG) as necessary. *
  • Responsible for documenting and preparing the submission of Suspicious Activity Reporting to FinCEN, PFSUS and PFS Canada Legal Departments, PFSUS Director, Compliance & Business Integrity, PFSD, and PAG *
  • Manage identification and reporting of KPIs, process improvements, and preventative measures based on trends noted and provide recommendations.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES

  • Cooperate with the Legal Department to maintain an understanding of changes in state and federal law and regulations that apply to PFS' business units and assist the business with implementation of processes and procedures to support those requirements.
  • Support the business and compliance teams in documenting and updating AML regulations, risks/controls and assist with identification and implementation of appropriate risk-based monitoring.
  • Develop relationships within business units and other internal governance groups to ensure partnership approach to Fraud Prevention and AML Compliance management.
  • Develop, review, and revise policies and procedures, taking steps to ensure they are clear, concise, and accurately reflect current operational and compliance requirements.
  • Create/maintain effective tools for tracking and monitoring AML Compliance, including database of fraud related activities, risk assessments, and other reporting as required.
  • Develop and implement reporting tools to provide Fraud and AML Compliance related data to PFSUS and PFS Canada, as well as their respective Board of Directors.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge and understanding of financial industry regulations and laws, including, but not limited to AML, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), Graham-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA).
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Supervision & Examination Manual. * Special projects as defined by Compliance management.
QualificationsQualifications

QUALIFICATIONS(Education, formal training, experience, specialized knowledge, and special skills.)

  • College degree required *
  • Graduate degree preferred *
  • Professional certification, such as Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) preferred *
  • Minimum 7-10 years' experience in financial services operations (captive automotive experience preferred) *
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in an AML, Fraud and/or Risk Management role *
  • Understanding of automotive financing principles, strategies, systems, processes, and industry benchmarks *
  • Proficient with MS Office Products *
  • Demonstrated research, deductive skills and problem solving and analytical skills *
  • Conceptual thinking, negotiation, and persuasion skills *
  • Excellent ability to formulate decisions *
  • Demonstrated diplomacy and tact *
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to seek out improvement ideas *

Inside the Company:

  • Reports to Director, Compliance & Business Integrity *
  • Works closely with all Porsche Financial Services Directors and Managers. *
  • Supervisory responsibility for Fraud and AML Compliance Analyst.

Outside the Company:

  • Interacts with Bentley, Lamborghini, Bugatti, and PFS dealers, local, state, and federal authorities.

  • Position is based Atlanta, GA.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
