Responsibilities

SummitRidge Hospital is committed to continuity of care and does not utilize agency staff, instead we maintain a fully trained PRN pool as needed. Join a fast-paced team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Due to continued growth, we are seeking part time day and night shift (7AM-7PM OR 7PM-7AM) LPN to provide direct patient care to patients and assist the Registered Nurse in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. The Licensed Practical Nurses provides caring and professional inpatient nursing support to adults and adolescents suffering from psychiatric or addictive disorders. Additionally, the Geriatric unit provides acute care for seniors in psychiatric crisis. Our in-patient nursing department is led by the Director of Nursing, House Supervisors and includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Mental Health Technicians, and Patient Care Technicians.

SummitRidge Hospital -is a place for Healing and Hope! Our behavioral health psychiatric hospital is in Lawrenceville (about 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta). We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to adolescents, adults, and seniors, in addition to partial hospitalization and other outpatient programs (includes a location in Athens). On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at SummitRidge Hospital. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Graduate of a state approved school for practical nurses

- Currently licensed as an Licensed Practical Nurse in the State

- Consistently demonstrate Service Excellence
