Job Description
Cox Automotive is seeking a Financial Senior Analyst to support budgeting/forecasting/long-range planning activities, month-end reporting activities, and ad-hoc financial analysis for various corporate functions. Candidates must have a solid understanding of P&L statements, finance/accounting concepts, variance analysis, financial modeling and business case modeling. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team environment. Candidates must have the ability to operate and work across functional groups in a matrix organization. To support various corporate business partners effectively, candidates must be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization including senior executives. Effective communication of analysis, building strong business partner relationships and interpersonal skills are essential in this role. This position reports to the FP&A Senior Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

  • Create and maintain monthly expense and team member reporting to monitor for accuracy/completeness and inform on variances to budget for the Corporate Sales and Marketing teams, including Enterprise Sales, EDS, the Sales Business Office and multiple Corporate Marketing teams.
  • Build, sustain and leverage relationships with business partners.
  • Assist in consolidating as well as creating components of the annual budget, provide insights on trends to inform the budgeting process.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including submitting accruals, attending monthly reviews with accounting partners and informing on risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with finance leads from other areas of the business to understand overall CAI Sales & Marketing project plans, key drivers of expense and variances to budget.
  • Drive process improvements and look for ways to create efficiencies and increase accuracy in reporting.
  • Provide financial analysis and ad hoc reporting as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting with 4+ years of experience in a financial environment. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience or a Ph.D. with 1+ year of experience.
  • MBA or CPA a plus.
  • Strong focus in financial planning (budget/ forecast), financial analysis and business case modeling.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and high degree of intellectual curiosity with track record of delivered results.
  • Motivated, resourceful, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail while remaining results-oriented is critical.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment for interpreting financial data.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Experience with Oracle and OneStream is a strong plus.


USD 77,800.00 - 116,800.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $77,800.00 - $116,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
