Job Description

The Media Supervisor, Strategy is the primary point of contact for clients on stewardship requests, responsible for having a firm grasp of both strategic and functional media knowledge across Programmatic, Social, and Search channels. Supervisors also have exposure to buy-side platforms with direct visibility into campaign setup and real-time last-touch performance in helping drive accountability and accuracy of plan activations. This individual oversees Sr. Associate(s) and demonstrates a leading example of cross-functional collaboration and communication. This person also demonstrates a professional demeanor as the role offers frequent client contact, ownership of an integrated media and creative activation process, and a leading voice in project management. The Supervisor will be ready and able to step in and handle situations when the Associate Director is unavailable.

What you'll do:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client stewardship and activation requests
  • Learns and understands all phases of the client's marketing objectives across multiple lines of business
  • Determines and supervises the best possible implementation of all approved activations within the guidelines of client-driven process
  • Develops collaborative working relationships with agency cross-functional teams, ensuring fail-proof accuracy in compliance and regulatory environment
  • Master Fortune 100 client-specific operations, tools, and processes while serving as the go-to resource for external and internal questions
  • Adopt a performance marketing mindset using data to inform strategic decisions impacting media and creative outcomes
  • Trains and develops Sr. Associate(s), including:
    • Appropriate delegation
    • Managing group dynamics/relationships between Associate(s)
    • Establishes and demonstrates strong leadership skills
    • Checks work of Associate(s) to ensure accuracy
    • Identifies opportunities for Associate(s) career development
Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • 5-7years of client-facing experience at an advertising agency
  • Experienced with Programmatic, Social, and Search platforms (including - Prisma, Amazon, DV360, Yahoo, Meta Business Manager, and SA360)
  • Passion for performance marketing and client-first service
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Milestones

  • Has successfully helped junior staff develop their skills.
  • Has delivered plans that incorporate new media platforms and technologies.
  • Has developed a strong understanding/grasp of other Razorfish service offerings.
  • Has strong client relationship skills.
  • Has proactively brought the client ideas beyond the scope of what was asked for.
  • Has delivered operational solutions to improve internal processes.
  • Has a track record of owning team's deliverables and maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Has demonstrated emerging internal and external (agency partner) collaboration skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year, accredited college or university.

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $117,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
