Global Procurement and Sourcing (GPS) is part of the CFO's organization. Our team touches everyone at Salesforce that interacts with a supplier, purchases something, engages a contractor or supports a data center. We leverage the Salesforce platform to drive efficiency and standardization in our processes.

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Procurement M&A Sourcing Integration who will focus on identifying, assigning and managing Strategic Sourcing activities to integrate the supply base of our acquired companies. You will partner with a Procurement M&A Operations Integration counterpart that is responsible for driving integration decisions and supporting for our new employees on both interim and end-state processes. The end-to-end integration is data driven and you will use your analytical skills to identify and prioritize opportunities for supplier and contract consolidation, renegotiation or termination to drive savings and efficiency. You will also work with the team to evolve the integration strategy and process based on lessons learned and new system capabilities. This is a highly cross-functional role within Procurement and the Finance organization, as well as with Real Estate, IT, Technology & Products, Marketing, Legal and Security.

Your Impact:

Success will be measured by your ability to work with the acquired company and Strategic Sourcing to rationalize the supply base and create a roadmap of contract transitions while you minimize disruption of work. Communication, engagement and alignment with your partners are key. Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Partner with the Strategic Sourcing teams to determine the short term and long term contract transition plans and drive the resulting contracting activities, including the transition of Contingent Workforce agreements

  • Own all agreement data in our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool - determine and load the appropriate data elements and create a pipeline of contracting activities that is actionable for Sourcing

  • Manage integration Key Performance Indicators and metrics related to savings, supplier consolidation and time to integrate

  • Project manage all action items related to agreement transitions for the acquired company's supplier base

  • Enforce interim operating rules between acquisition close and procurement cut-over

  • Serve as a liaison between Strategic Sourcing, business partners from the acquired companies, existing Salesforce partners, M&A teams and suppliers

  • Build and maintain presentations to share information and status with partners

  • Respond quickly to service or business disruptions and critical issues in order to get back on track

  • Build relationships and drive partnership with other functional integration teams by using your strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Find opportunities to improve the Procurement Integration program and data strategy in order to increase efficiency, ensure compliance and drive down speed to integrate

Basic Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or business consulting

  • Advanced understanding of supplier contracts

  • Passionate about customer success

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and do what it takes to resolve quickly

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Self-motivation/willingness to take initiative

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in building category strategies, sourcing pipeline and savings methodology

  • Success in developing and implementing strategic procurement plans that result in cost savings and efficiencies

  • Knowledge of procure-to-pay processes

  • M&A integration experience

  • Project or program management experience

  • Experience with the salesforce platform

  • Knowledge of Finance Business Systems - Oracle, Coupa, and emerging P2P platforms such as e-Procurement, contract management, RFx tools, and supplier relationship management (SRM)
