In this role, you'll be responsible for managing projects for Developer and Investor clients through leadership and strategic guidance including monitoring capital projects in various stages of development, assessing risk, reporting status, and mitigation strategies for Investor consideration. This role will include delivery of service, building relationships, and support leadership in team growth.


Responsibilities

  • You are a leader who understands diverse markets including commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, and related development risks for both development projects and stabilized assets.
  • You are a passionate development project manager with an excellent track record of delivering projects exceeding owner's expectations.
  • You are personable and excited by developing projects and growing a business.
  • You are knowledgeable about the facets of real estate development including due diligence, planning, permitting, design, construction, financials and closeout, as well as working with investors and development partners.
  • You are a strategic thinker, providing high level service delivery to clients.
  • You manage and provide direction to your team to ensure the overall highest-level of service for each project and the overall program.
  • You have been responsible for problem-solving, planning and organizing, and decision-making.
  • You are skillful in handling any escalated issues immediately and effectively and in leading major project team discussions, leading to appropriate actions and resolution.
  • You are a motivational and effective communicator.

Qualifications

  • Experience with development analysis and monitoring including risk assessment and reporting on large real estate portfolios comprised of active development projects and stabilized assets.
  • Experience in real estate development including project management, site analysis, contracting, architecture, and construction.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with acquisition due diligence and construction/development.
  • Contract management and oversight experience, from concept through completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Propensity to think creatively and strategically.
  • Able to work independently with a team player attitude.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Willing to travel.
  • You have a track record of being reliable, efficient, and driven, resulting in the highest client satisfaction.
  • Your team members report positively on your ability to work collaboratively, accurate reporting, and build creative solutions.
