Job Description
JLL has a career opportunity for a Building Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities while adhering to safety protocols.

Here is what you will be doing:
Perform and/or direct the performance of assigned maintenance service requests, ensuring that work performed in these areas is accomplished efficiently.

Life safety systems including generators, fire systems including fire panels, sprinklers, audio, and visual devices.

Perform building and equipment maintenance and repairs

Assist with the supervision and direction of contractors and monitor the performance of their assigned responsibilities.

Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts

Conduct plumbing & electrical repairs, and clean HVAC coils, change filters, and belts.

Move machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.

Performs preventative maintenance, maintenance routines, and equipment and service requests.

Respond and perform emergency repairs or preventative maintenance

Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.

Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs

Document work performance and materials procurement in the CMMS system


Here is who we are looking for:
Required
High school diploma or GED

Valid state-issued driver's license

3+ years of experience in general building repair and maintenance

Basic computer skills


Preferred
Completion of an applicable training program


Pay $30-34/HR
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. with an on-call rotation approx. every 3-months.


Physical environment
Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., use ladders, and possess mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
