Responsible for field applications, system design, and customer product development/enhancement. Provide a medium which increases sales and market share of hydraulic motion control products.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction

Does Not Have Direct Reports

Work with Territory Managers/ distributors, marketing and product teams adapting product to customer needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitates newer H.S.E. training.
  • Support hydraulic design and electronic interface.
  • Consult with division non new product development and marketing.
  • Assist territory and regional manager in adapting current and new products to customer need and satisfaction.
  • Assist the regional manager in managing the technical qualification of the H.T.C distributor network.
  • Provide technical expertise on product and total system design applications to close on final sale.
  • Consult with customers regarding product and capabilities.
  • Assist design and manufacturing in the development of new and/or revised product systems according to customer requirements.
  • Provide timely reports summarizing findings on a given product or project.
  • Make good, sound business judgment.
  • Teaches or facilitates territory manager in technical training of customers and distributors.
  • Will have direct account responsibility as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-10 years in Fluid Power sales and/or engineering.
  • Advanced technical competence in hydraulics.
  • 4 year college degree in engineering, business or marketing.
