Position Description



Production Support is a support function located within the TASQ Tech Center and is also a supporting contributor for the Inventory and Deployment Departments.

The Production Support Technician works in a team environment under general supervision and will be tasked to perform any of the following functions. Cleaning, Case Changing, in process Quality Control Inspection, Burn-in Testing, Order Closing, Oracle Data Entry, Data Collection, Inventory Management, Pack Out and Final Quality Control Inspection Auditing of completed units. All Production Support functions are necessary to evaluate and ensure that all repaired equipment processed from the Tech Center is in compliance with Customer Specific Requirements and TASQ quality control standards.









  • Verifies merchandise type, accessories, and serial number against the appropriate paperwork.



  • Cleans and/or replaces broken cosmetic components as needed, with appropriate approval.



  • Completes Quality Control and internal auditing inspections.



  • Performs functional diagnostic Burn-in tests as required.



  • Completes special project activities as required.



  • Record all activities and failures onto paperwork and/or Oracle UMO database.



  • Packs Out finished product.



  • Closes repair orders and moves product to Inventory.



  • Assists in the development or input of historical data reports.



  • Assists in other departments as needed.



Requirements:







  • Basic PC skills



  • Ability to identify and act upon specific cosmetic and functional quality issues as needed.



  • Ability to seek out assistance when needed.



  • Ability to complete repetitive work functions.



  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in English effectively.



  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.



  • Frequent standing and lifting 24-40 lbs.
This position will work the 11:00 am - 8:00 pm schedule.
