Our client, SWEP(A Dover Company), is a global leader in state of the art brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHEs). Using these highly engineered modules, they are able to customize their solutions to meet their client’s specific needs across heating, refrigeration and industrial applications.  SWEP is seeking a seasoned technical sales engineer to be based in Duluth, Georgia who will help develop client platform and manage existing key accounts.  This individual will understand the application of heat exchange products such as evaporators, condensers and single-phase heat exchangers for various industries.
 
In this highly visible position, you will report directly to the National Sales Manager and work closely with the North American sales team to identify potential customers, understand the client’s business requirements, develop solutions, and drive new sales.  You will also assist in the training, technical support and customer service for products and applications.
 
Your challengeis to grow SWEP’s business by developing sales tools, best practices and specifying the functionality of applications/products in handbooks.  You will become an expert on SWEP’s product and application portfolio and be current on industry trend.  You will be tasked with ensuring that SWEP is positioned for long term growth by helping to build an organization that is competitive in North America.  You will be instrumental in sales visits, tradeshows, responding to proposals from specific customers and industries, developing customer requirements, defining solutions, and winning new business.
 
The right individual will have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a technical discipline, plus 3-5 years of sales experience in the heating, air conditioning, refrigeration or industrial applications involving heat exchangers.  You will have a proven track recordin sales & marketing, account management and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.  You will have experience working in an international environment and strong communications skills both written and spoken. This role requires a self starter with the ability to travel domestically/internationally.
