Due to continued growth, our Environmental Services Group is seeking an Air Quality/ Environmental Engineer for our Tulsa, OK & Dallas, TX location.
Responsibilities (including but are not limited to)
- Focus on air quality management including air regulatory compliance services such as MACT, NSPS, NESHAP, and air permitting NNSR/NSR, PSD, and PBRs.
- Air monitoring and air quality modeling
- Serve as mentor and trainer for junior staff in project management and technical performance of environmental compliance work.
- Establish/maintain strong professional credentials in the environmental compliance area through technical presentations and publications, society affiliations, service on technical committees, etc.
- Generate an air compliance tool focused on the upstream oil & gas industry which will calculate emissions with client input data stemming from variable sources
- Development of new business and cultivation of existing clients in the environmental compliance area.
- Regular interaction with Federal, State, and local regulatory and resource management agency staff
- Preparation of proposals and statements of qualification
Required Qualifications / skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (including chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering) and 5 years experience OR Appropriate industry-recognized licenses or certifications indicating achievement in field of specialty and 7 years of applicable environmental experience.
- Prior environmental consulting experience
- Must have well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal, written, proposal, and presentation) and abilities
- Awareness of a statistical approach to risk assessments is a plus, including ecological, human health, and pipeline safety risk assessments.
Employment requirement
Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies.
Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
