Job Description

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is immediately seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to join our logistics team in Winston-Salem, NC. We are now offering a $2,000 signing bonus. As a DOT driving professional, you will be responsible for providing customer delivery of chemicals while operating a diesel, multi-geared bobtail truck/pup/ and or tractor-trailer vehicle.

Work Location: Hub out of Winston-Salem, NC

Schedule: Monday-Friday regional travel, average 3-5 nights out per week. Overtime included. Home on weekends and holidays.

Required Experience:

  • CDL A with HazMat & Tanker endorsements: 3 years

  • Commercial Driving: 3 years

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 3 years or acceptable MVR

  • Able to lift/carry a minimum of 50 lbs.

  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Job Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Safely operate in accordance with DOT regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials

  • Maintain truck and equipment by performing daily/periodic mechanical and safety inspections

  • Meet all customer delivery requirements by loading/offloading materials following Zero Defect Delivery procedures

  • Maintain regular communication with sales team and supervisor, reporting safety hazards or field problems accordingly

  • Maintain hours of service by using Qualcomm, Turnpike and/or paper log-book reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating forklifts, drum dollies, trailer hoists, chemical pumps/hoses, meters, printers and gauge

  • Experience handling products in various types of packages including bulk, drums, porta-feeds, and mini/micro-feed units
