RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES

If you're looking to grow your career, we have a great opportunity to gain knowledge and experience within NTG as a member of the Foreign Reporting Services team. Connect with and assist colleagues across Ayco on foreign reporting related items. In this niche area of tax, you will also interact with clients and outside specialists (attorneys and other tax preparers). No relocation required.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

    Prepare/review the following tax forms: 1116, FBAR, 926, 8865, 8938, 3520, 8858, 8621, 2555
  • Prepare/review the following calculations: currency conversions, currency gain/loss (personal, *988, *987), foreign rental, income sourcing
  • Assist with Form 926 and Form 8621 import projects
  • Update annual guidance
  • Assist with tax engagement reviews
  • Respond to foreign related reporting questions from regional and core associates
  • Assist with client non-compliance issues

QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 1040 tax experience
  • Familiarity with GoSystem and MS Excel
  • EA or CPA designation preferred, but not required
  • Research skills preferred, but not required
  • Able to manage conflicting priorities, deadline-based tasks and simultaneous projects
  • Detail oriented, excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Self-starter, highly motivated to personal growth and development
  • Ability to work in a team while maintaining a high level of responsibility and accountability to individual projects and tasks
