This position is responsible for delivering on-site education and enrollment presentations to new and existing defined contribution 401(k) clients. The Counselor will leverage Empower's industry leading technology and tools to drive results and help employees strive for a successful retirement. This position will also assist the Client Management team in effectively establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within the territory assigned.

What you will do:

-Facilitates a communication and education strategy by conducting group meetings (with the possibility of some one-on-one's); in person, via the web, or in recorded presentations.
-High-performing individual who provides consultative expertise to employees to increase participation and enrollment.
-Assists in developing communication and education strategies.
-Assists in maintaining & retaining existing client relationships.
-Manages meeting assignment schedule, including travel booking.
-Regularly reports meeting information and enters details into proprietary reporting systems (meeting tracker, etc).
-Provides feedback to Client Management about what communication materials/strategies are working or not working with a plan and assisting in identifying alternatives.
-Improves opportunities for the plan's health and performance.
-Other duties as assigned.

What you will bring:


EDUCATION:
-Bachelor's Degree preferred

-REGISTRATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSING REQUIRED:
-FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations required within corporate-established timelines.
-FINRA fingerprinting required.

What will set you apart:


-Minimum 2 years of related experience
-Presentation skills (to groups or individuals) required
-Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
-Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and fractions
-Good working knowledge of the firm's products, the defined contribution business, and ERISA
-Bi-lingual preferred

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Normal Office Working Conditions when located in GWRS Field office.

May be required to work from home when no local GWRS office is convenient. Will travel majority of the time using personal vehicle to go to local meetings with participants, may include overnight travel based on plan/territory requirements.

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
