At Global Payments we're rewriting the story of card issuing and building the future of payments. We are on the precipice of something magical and as a member of the Issuer Platform and Product Engineering team, you'll get to be part of it. We are passionate about technology and using it to modernize payments, and the overall banking experience. We build a wide variety of solutions from automated infrastructure and cloud-based systems to user experiences for web, mobile and IoT. Design is a huge part of everything we do in the Platform and Product Engineering team. It is interlaced with every facet of our software delivery process and our UI / UX teams play an integral role in the success of each product or experience we build.

We have sessions designed each week to bring the team together to learn and discuss topics that are critical to our industry and the evolution of our systems. As a team member, you'll be working with a team of people who represent some of the best and brightest minds in payments. Your mission will be to provide the robust, rich, and actionable designs that product teams need at every stage of the product development cycle. You not only conduct best-in-class multi method designs, but you develop deep, research-driven product expertise.

What you'll do

  • Write and edit product copy across our suite of products with the potential to support additional teams. This includes everything from small content like field labels and descriptions to larger more visible content like marketing canvases and landing pages on our external facing sites.

  • Write and edit user and implementation guides for both internal and external users

  • Build relationships with other designers and development teams to create content that accurately captures our product experiences

  • Champion best practices by creating style and writing guides that adhere to our design systems and can be used across a diverse suite of products

  • Document product features and user journeys in an easy to understand way that help users navigate and use our products

  • Design and act as a scribe for all communication ensuring accuracy and consistency of voice

  • Ensure messaging across all platforms is consistent and in line with brand standards and the target customer

Who you are

  • Someone that can work as a marketer, strategist, copywriter, designer and an analyst - sometimes all in one day - for all of our brands

  • You have a zero-tolerance policy for grammatical errors

  • Someone who loves to work with complic technical and financial products but still find a way to describe them in simple and conversational language that's easy to understand

  • You have an elevated aesthetic eye with an understanding of core design principles, excellent typography and layout skills, a keen eye for detail, and ease in translating brand guidelines through all creative channels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors' Degree in a related field.

  • Typically Minimum 5-8years relevant experience as an Content Writer
