Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a AS9100/ISO9001 QMS Auditor - Senior Quality Engineer to serve as an Enterprise External Quality Auditor. This remote home office position requires about 50% travel, generally in the Southeastern region. Including: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and conducting audits of documented policies, procedures and practices of the quality system in manufacturing and other functional areas throughout Aeroket Rocketdyne's Supply Chain. Including: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.

Working under limited general direction:
45% - Perform Quality Management System (QMS) audits based on AS9100, ISO9001, customer and internal requirements. Plan, communicate, and clarify the purpose and scope of the audit to responsible department representatives. Collect and analyze evidence to determine whether processes being audited produce quality product and meet the requirements of the QMS.
20% - Perform follow-up actions to ensure that corrective actions have been effectively implemented. Review audit related root cause and corrective action submittals.
15% - Collect and Document audit findings and observations. Create substantive and meaningful audit reports. Report results to management.
10% - Populate audit data base with internal & external audit results.
5% - Support external customer and third party audits. Interface with customer representatives in matters relative to quality assurance and the QMS.
5% - Perform other duties as necessary or appropriate to the position.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and at least five (5) years of related experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
