This advertisement is for one or more non-tenure track positions in the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business (http://cis.robinson.gsu.edu/). Candidates for clinical faculty positions must have demonstrated high-level classroom performance, the capability for publishing research related to the scholarship of teaching and learning and/or research related to professional practice, and an earned Ph.D. in Information Systems or related fields from an AACSB-accredited university or international equivalent.

The CIS Department is consistently ranked as a top department both in terms of its programs and research. The department’s undergraduate program was recently ranked # 8 and its graduate program was ranked # 11 in the nation by US News & World Report. The department is a leader in research on creating value for business and achieving societal impact through digital innovation and digital transformation. Additionally, the department consistently ranks among the best in the world in terms of research productivity based on publications in premier IS academic journals. .

Candidates for the position(s) are expected to have teaching experience in graduate programs (e.g., specialized masters programs) and undergraduate programs. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching interests in the following areas: software development, artificial intelligence, digital Innovation, and emerging Technologies. Ideal candidates will possess strong understanding of information technologies and how they can be effectively developed and deployed in different application domains. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to student success through mentoring, advising and related activities. Candidates with demonstrated administrative experience and ability within academic environments or their equivalent are preferred.
