Position Responsibilities
- Purchase, negotiate and maintain inventory for all overseas products.
- Develop, direct and maintain demand plans for key categories.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics on overseas lead times and recommend corrective action.
- Analyze, calculate and monitor product stock levels.
- Build, create and monitor container POs, meeting specific load and shipping requirements.
- Develop and maintain relations with international suppliers plus Uline Merchandising, Logistics and Global Sourcing teams.
- Resolve problems and expedite deliveries on key products.
- Develop monthly item level forecasts to assist vendors in planning production.
- Reconcile and coordinate vendor return issues with Quality and Marketing departments.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years purchasing / inventory management experience.
- Proficiency with AS400 and Microsoft Office.
