Dealer Solutions Consultant

REMOTE NATIONWIDE

Some trainers help people build up their muscles, leading them through intense fitness regiments. Thankfully, this trainer role won't require a single crunch or burpie. Nope, this job is a Dealer Solutions Consultant for Cox Automotive. You'll show your strength by traveling to client sites to train them up on our Dealertrack software so they can complete all their daily and monthly processes.

So, if you love being on the road (this is a 100% field-based travel gig), and dig the idea of driving client satisfaction in person, by phone, or via web meetings, stay with us...this may just be your kind of workout.

What You'll Do

You'll keep training on track, as you work with dealership users on proprietary software to make sure they can utilize it completely and are thrilled with the results. You might do this one on one, in a classroom setting or even remotely. You'll help clients convert from their old software to the latest and greatest software offerings from Cox, making sure all their data is intact and accurate. You'll also work with them and your Project Managers to decide which client process requirements need to be used, and then get them up and running using customizing application settings.

If you're going to train, you'll need to stay trained yourself, so attending training sessions (in person and remotely) will be expected so you can keep your skill sets top tier. You'll also work with and mentor fellow Cox team members (via phone, email, and IM) so they can improve our overall success and client satisfaction.

Pack your bags, because you'll be on the road a bunch - using wheels and wings - to implement the software onsite with our clients. This will give you the chance to identify opportunities that you can relay to your leadership team.

We'll look to you to work well against deadlines with a "no sweat" attitude, as you use your amazing analytical and people skills to take care of customer concerns. You're a keen listener, who conveys information clearly and concisely, whether in person or via the written word.

What's In It For You?

We know this role will keep you busy, so we plan to take good care of you in return. You're working for Cox, so Cox is working for you. At Cox Automotive, we reward you with meaningful benefits.

  • First, we offer a great compensation package, 401(k) with a generous company match, comprehensive healthcare, life, and disability benefits, plus numerous other benefits, including adoption assistance, pet insurance, and discounts on travel and cars!
  • We value people more than technology. That means you'll work within a culture and with a team that values your experience, your contributions, and you - yes, you - as a person. We believe recognition is important, and Cox strives to celebrate those who help make us successful every day. We also encourage diversity and support inclusion; we want you to do you and feel comfortable doing so.
  • We also offer boundless opportunities for growth; you can sharpen your skills, learn a new talent, join a mentoring program, even earn an advanced degree. You'll find the potential for lateral or upward career growth within the Cox family of businesses, including the innovative startups in transportation mobility, clean tech and more.
Qualifications:

We've already talked about a bunch of your amazing attributes, and aside from those, we're looking to you to have the following qualifications so you can really step into this role and rock it:

  • BS/BA in related discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
  • 3 years of experience in related field
  • With all this travel, a valid U.S. driver's license is a must, and we're looking for you to bring a strong know-how of Microsoft programs to the job.
  • Though not required, a bachelor's degree is a big plus, as is automotive dealership knowledge and a bit of a bookkeeping background or accounting acumen.
  • REMOTE NATIONWIDE
