Due to continued growth, our Nuclear Services Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Site Lead to join the ENERCON team at Callaway Energy Center. This individual will be responsible for interactions with the client and the ENERCON staff across the North Division and Corporate offices.

Responsibilities (including but are not limited to)

  • Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients, and act as a single point of contact for assigned projects.
  • Manage client interactions and negotiate / control project scope to client and company's satisfaction.
  • Aggressively support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up.
  • Assist project staff in coordinating design review meetings, deliverable reviews, and approvals.
  • Perform walk-downs and data gathering.
  • Prepare and/or review design change packages, reports, studies, and other engineering deliverables.
  • Working with technical staff, develop winning, highly technical, engineering proposals
  • Providing other site support, as needed.

Required Qualifications / skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years experience in the nuclear industry as an Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites.
  • Experience working in a nuclear power plant environment and familiarity with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) governing codes.
  • Strong coordination and team-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
  • Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work on-site at Callaway Energy Center a minimum of two days per week; duration may vary depending on project and client needs.

Preferred Qualifications/ skills

  • 8+ years experience in the nuclear industry as an Engineer or Project Manager
  • Preferred experience working for an engineering consulting firm.
  • Nuclear Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc.

Employment requirement

  • Ability to pass ENERCON and client-specific background checks and an annual motor vehicle record review according to company and client policies
  • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites.


Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
