Position Description:
Joseph T. Ryerson & Son, Inc., a leading distributor and processor of metals, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our South East Region Human Resources team in Norcross, Georgia. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the successful candidate will bring strong administrative, organization, and prioritization skills to assist with the coordination, administration and maintenance of Talent Acquisition and administrative activities for the South East Region.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Serve as key Region HR contact to internal customers including hiring managers, field associates, and external customers such as talent acquisition vendors and colleges.
* Review candidate background check, education, pre-employment physical and drug screen results to ensure compliance with company policies. Engage hiring managers and communicate with candidates as needed.
* Serve as administrator of the region application tracking system. Compile talent acquisition stats reports for company management.
* Create and maintain all mandatory employment process records. Ensure applicant data and other human resources paper and electronic records are accurate and easily accessible.
* Serve as contact for payroll processing for region employees in partnership with payroll team. Answer employee inquiries, liaise with managers on erroneous timecards, distribute special payroll processing communications, and respond to monthly payroll audit report requests.
* Assist with talent management initiatives, including system administration of company-wide performance management tool.
* Support monthly reporting efforts including headcount reporting, key HR dashboard metrics and other miscellaneous reporting.
* Respond to routine customer inquiries.
* Complete other projects and duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Minimum of two years' experience supporting a department, preferably Human Resources in a large organization.
* HRIS experience. Must have exceptional data mining abilities from disparate, challenging systems and high technical aptitude for learning new systems.
* Must possess a general understanding of HR policies, procedures and practices, and employment-related compliance (EEO, ADA, etc.).
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Solid time management and organizational skills coupled with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Must possess a meticulous attention to detail.
* Professionalism in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
* Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to address a group in trainings, webinars, etc. required.
* Ability to project confidence and comfort dealing with individuals at all levels of the organization.
