Who you are:

As a real estate sales professional, you shall be responsible for the duties of Loan Asset Management and Administration for a portfolio of commercial real estate mortgage loans originated by Colliers International for life insurance company clients.  Ultimately, you bring a passion for real estate, strong intellectual capabilities, and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

You possess strong communications skills and are able to build strong professional relationships with others.


What you bring:

  • 3 - 5 years of commercial real estate mortgage loan portfolio management and servicing experience for Life Company loans preferred.

  • Experience with CREFC methodology in Financial Statement Analysis.

  • Thorough understanding of Key Performance Indicators such as Debt Yield, Debt Service Coverage Ratio, LTV, Cap Rates, Occupancy Costs, and Breakeven Analysis. 

  • Experience using FICS (Commercial Servicer) Loan Management Software or other comparable loan servicing software

  • Proficiency with MS Office including MS Excel.

 

Bonus skills and experience:

  • Experience in standard Loan Administration duties

  • Knowledge of Real Estate loan underwriting is a plus

 

What success looks like:

  • You review and prepare periodic financial statement analysis (quarterly/annually) for properties in the loan servicing portfolio

  • You will track Key Performance Indicators in order to identify any potential negative trends or risks in the portfolio and make oral and written recommendations for mitigating risks

  • You will manage administrative functions of a commercial mortgage loan portfolio and maintain data integrity in the Loan System.

  • You have experience surveilling diverse complex portfolio of commercial real estate mortgage loans

  • You will take care of Loan Administration duties including but not limited to loan boarding, cashiering, investor reporting, insurance compliance review, escrow analysis, verification of paid real estate taxes, UCC continuations and preparation of payoff estimates

  • You will assist the Managing Director in the revision, analysis, and written recommendations of Borrower Request to lender
