About the role:

As a Solution Consultant II you will provide support to the PaymentsEdge Team and client base with a focus on debit and credit card report development, management, and analysis.

About the Team: The PaymentsEdge Marketing and Advisory Team works with FIS credit and debit card issuers to optimize portfolio performance. This position will report to the Director of Product on a team that oversees credit and debit reporting, advisory and large financial institutions.

What you will be doing:

  • You will work individually or within a team on credit card business reporting projects to meet client requirements and business needs.
  • You will provide ongoing card reporting support that meet the requirements of the marketing and advisory initiatives.
  • Create and maintain client campaign and portfolio reports that provide data and business intelligence to internal and external stakeholders
  • Support enterprise-wide initiatives related to the institution's strategic vision and the use of data and reports for enterprise decision-making, service, and retention
  • Assist in the management and execution of reports and data request processes across internal/external clients, Ad-hoc/systematic, data domains, tools/reports/data access, etc. as appropriate
  • Utilize advanced skills to develop reports from various data sources.
  • Assist in maintaining the report repository
  • Develop and execute quality assurance plans to ensure reports and the data in the reports are accurate
  • Lead and manage individual projects focused on reporting/analysis and serve as the report analyst representative on large projects that include reporting
  • Support the team for planning, analyses, and strategy development through report data
  • Provide mentorship, and training to junior team members and other relevant parties
  • Translate stake holder requirements into reporting deliverables
  • Assist analyst team with dashboard, reports, data, and select analyses
  • Deliver ad hoc reports
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including special projects that may fall outside of the listed functions/activities.
  • You will manage special projects which may involve cross-functional teams

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or business
  • 5+years' experience in credit card services or financial services industry
  • In-depth knowledge of credit card and financial services industry
  • Hands on financial services industry reporting and report development experience
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • SQL & Tableau is a plus
  • Ability to analyze portfolio performance and make appropriate recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, negotiation, conflictmanagement
