To strengthen our Advanced Analytics team, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Market Access Advanced Analytics Lead in Atlanta, GA

The Market Access Advanced Analytics Lead is a key business partner who will provide analytics to support our partners in Market Access and commercial organizations. He/she is responsible for development of rigorous analytics-based market insights and business intelligence to inform optimal strategic brand and portfolio decision-making, ensure successful marketing execution, and measure performance.

You will contribute by:

  • Leading rigorous, analytics-based decision support to the commercial team, including primary market research, data analytics, forecasting and insight generation from a market access perspective
  • Managing, generating, interpreting, and communicating analytics related to the impact of market access stakeholders - including payers, providers, GPOs, specialty pharmacies to guide leaders on driving revenue through promotional efforts
  • Providing key insights to the sales and marketing strategic planning process
  • Monitoring in-line portfolio performance and generating insights to drive continuous improvement of marketing strategy\
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders to quickly understand business strategies, identify analytics needs and build effective solutions
  • Demonstrating your knowledge of the healthcare market access landscape and access and performance related third-party data sources (e.g. formulary data, patient-level claims data, payer-prescriber
  • Synthesizing unrelated research findings into coherent, actionable recommendations
  • Facilitating alignment across senior leaders on analytical approach and scenario definition
  • Managing and providing direction to the Business Analysts
  • Developing and implementing a standardized process for taking and fulfilling analytical requests from key stakeholders while identifying a prioritization process to help manage the requests
  • Collaborating with the business unit to develop reports efficiently and effectively to meet information needs of sales, marketing, and operations management
  • Working closely with senior management and clients, providing business insights, challenging their thinking, and managing their expectations


For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills:
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 5+ Years of experience in analysis and modelling
  • Prior experience within the pharmaceutical or related industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years' experience working in an advanced analyst role preferred
  • 8+ years of working in a complex data environment preferred
  • Highly proficient with analytical tools such as SAS an/or R
  • Demonstrated experience using advanced Excel features and techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data to senior levels of an organization
  • Background in working with Pharmaceutical prescription data, related information delivery, and data standards experience
  • Understanding of Specialty Pharmacy data
  • Background in data investigations within a pharmaceutical data environment
  • Experience working with longitudinal patient level data for treatment and patient flow analysis
  • Expertise in using managed care data such a MMIT and fingertip formulary data
  • Experience in using and developing methodologies such as test-control observational experimental techniques for strategic resource allocation.
  • Experience with data warehouse/business intelligence solutions development
