As a Sr. Clinical Development and Medical Affairs Project Lead supporting the Project Management Clinical Research teamyou will be trusted to work on planning, directing, creating, and communicating clinical study time-lines at Johns Creek, Georgia in the United States. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Gathering input from cross-functional teams and creating plans that help the team produce deliverables on schedule

  • Ensuring consistency of clinical study and processes across clinical trials

  • Overseeing and resolving operational aspects of clinical trials in conjunction with project teams and in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP), good clinical practice (GCP) and specific country regulations such as site and vendor selection, preparing clinical trial budgets

  • Ensuring study is conducted within clinical trial protocols

  • Monitoring progress and following up with team members and line managers when issues develop

  • Implementing and preparing the clinical development strategy as outlined by the clinical teams

  • May develop recruitment strategy for the trial in program
     

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience

  • Travel Requirements: Up to 15%
