The Accounting Assistant - Full time position providing administrative and accounting support to the Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily and Weekly Reconciliation of Inventory Consumption
Codes and inputs documents into SAP ERP system according to protocol
Records Daily Production Hrs to Production orders into SAP ERP system
Reviews and interprets Financial & Analytical reports and makes corrections as needed.
Creates and submits reports and data to Management on Daily Production
Daily Coding of Expense invoices
Provide Plant Departments with Weekly reports on current monthly expense accounts
Backup to Issuing purchase orders and routing for approvals
Maintains and/or reviews general ledger data prior to settlement of Month End Production
Provides training to Leads and Supervisor on Consumption of Inventory in SAP
Attend Weekly & Monthly meetings on Inventory Variances and Savings
Performs other similar duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities:
Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions
Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:Associate degree or higher from a college or technical school, or currently senior year of College Majoring in Accounting
Ability to read, write and comprehend English. Basic proficiency in MS office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Moderate to High Level of Knowledge on Excel
