SUMMARY
Performs preventive and advanced level corrective maintenance on all vehicles in accordance with the Grady Health System Policies & Procedures and the EMS operations manual to ensure the readiness of all assigned emergency and non-emergency vehicles through the application of industry standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
ASE Master Automobile and Light Duty Truck Certification including ASE Light Vehicle Diesel Engines certification required within 12 months of hire date. (Current employees hired prior to October 21, 2012 will be "grandfathered" on ASE certification but must acquire required ASE certification by November 1, 2015.
Valid Georgia driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record according to departmental policy. Must maintain acceptable motor vechile record throughout employment required.
EVT certification EO-E1 preferred.
