Job DescriptionData Engineers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Lead complex analytical projects using advanced analytical and statistical methods in order to recommend, review and implement decisions that will have a positive impact on the profit and loss of retail banking portfolios. Interact with international Banks and Bureaus to ensure data accuracy and manage deliverable timelines. Discuss project requirements with clients. Identify and analyze impact of data inaccuracies. Set up validations and methods to restrict data inaccuracies. Analyze data to systematically apply logical, mathematical and in-house developed highly complex analysis technology to describe and evaluate data. Leverage proprietary industry-wide credit card data to develop leading portfolio management strategies, product development, analyze consumer spending behaviors, and present key insights to stakeholders. Deliver payment consulting engagements involving new product development, competitive market landscapes, emerging trends, data analysis, acquisitions, opportunity sizing, gap assessments and operational aspects. Analyze sample data and the data trends for new client solicitation and set up the study and reports. Technical environment: data validation; data automation; data visualization and reporting; Microsoft SQL; MySQL; AWS (Redshift, Pentaho, S3); SSIS; Tableau.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Statistics, or related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or as a data analyst or in data analytics related to financial industry required. Required skills: data validation; data automation; data visualization and reporting; Microsoft SQL; MySQL; AWS (Redshift, Pentaho, S3); SSIS; Tableau. 100% telecommuting permitted.
