Provides hospital-based crisis management and supportive brief counseling services to patient that present with a primary or secondary behavioral health concern in the emergency rooms and/or inpatient units. This position works in collaboration with the psychiatrist, psychiatric midlevels and leadership to ensure immediate care needs are addressed while at Northside Hospital and the appropriate interventions match the level of care recommendations for aftercare. Functions as a senior level clinician within the team.

**The Clinician will be working Saturday & Sunday, 8p-8a

REQUIRED:

1. Master's degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related mental health discipline with an emphasis on clinical experience.
2. Three years experience past Master's in the mental health field.
3. Licensed as a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist), or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
4. Must be CPR certified.

PREFERRED:

1. Prior clinical experience providing outpatient mental health or inpatient psychiatric services.
