Job Description

The Quality Associate is responsible for conducting routine tests and inspections on products, assisting the Quality Assurance Manager with data collection. The technician performs capability studies, first-piece inspections & records results, as well as assisting with ISO compliance and training. The Quality Technician participates in special projects as needed and works with other departments to ensure a quality product.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or commensurate experience in a related field required
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Ability to work well both independently and with a team.
  • Blueprint reading skills strongly preferred.
  • ERP knowledge required; Microsoft AX preferred.
  • Experience operating Faro equipment, CAD/CAM experience and Tooling Design experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in CNC/Press Brake/Oxy-Fuel machining strongly preferred.
  • PPAP/APQP experience also preferred.
