About this Position:
The Regional Account Manager is responsible for strategically managing and driving profitable wholesale of PE product nationally at assigned CBU national accounts within the PSP-Fleet Sales department. This role develops and maintains key business relationships at assigned accounts through partnership alignment, while executing Honda CBU-Fleet Sales strategy. Additionally, the Regional Account Manager supports CBU national account retail sales, within defined accounts or geographic area.


Responsibilities include:
* Meets assigned fiscal year sales and strategic objectives in assigned accounts by establishing productive and professional relationships with account merchants. Drives negotiation and strategy of store product assortment through detailed analysis resulting in profitable AHM financial outcome. Partners with Manager/Assistant Manager on account annual contract development and negotiation
* Manages inventory planning and replenishment for assigned national accounts, effectively communicates the plan to Manager/Assistant Manager and aligns to needs of account. Coordinates fulfilment and replenishment updates bi-monthly with assigned accounts. Partners with Manager/Assistant Manager in executing annual product line reviews
* Develops and conducts quarterly business reviews with merchants and other key business areas at assigned accounts. Aligns account sales strategy with Honda strategy for a mutually beneficial outcome. Responsible for decisions in driving sales strategy that results in meeting Honda sales/profit objectives
* Travels regionally in support of all CBU-Fleet Sales account's retail sales, PK training, account events & shows, and on-site support of account's end-market B2B sales efforts
* Attends national events and trade shows supporting Honda marketing and end-customer engagement


Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:
* 5 years of sales and key account management experience

Required Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent relevant work experience

Desired Skills:
* Demonstrated ability to develop and manage business relationships effectively
* High familiarity with value-based selling, consultive partnerships, negotiation
* Knowledge of multi-store retail operations, marketing, merchandising, inventory planning & management
* Effective written and verbal communication, and organizational skills
* Strong analytical skills, and ability to use data for sound decision making
* Results driven, strong work ethic, self-motivated
* * Proficient in MS office (excel, power point, word), sap experience desired

Additional Position Factors:
* Travel 25% required potentially overnight and periodic weekends
* Ability to operate power equipment (lawn mowers, tillers, trimmers, snow blowers, generators, and water pumps)
* Future relocation is possible
* Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
