Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic Human Resources Generalist II. In this key role, you'll have broad responsibility for our site in, Jacksonville, AL.

High level of organizational skills, engagement and communication are necessary to build relationships, further positioning HR as a strategic business partner.

  • Support and lead various HR programs across the site, including employee engagement, delivering training, providing coaching and supporting high performance teams.

  • Lead engagement, appreciation, and community outreach activities

  • Conduct engagement focus groups and action plan implementation

  • Develop trusting relationships with team members while addressing issues and concerns, addressing moderately complex questions by managers and employees; Responsible for routine employee grievances; Address questions on compensation and benefits; Conduct reporting and analytics, as needed.

  • Lead recruiting efforts and onboarding of new team members by partnering with functional and operational leaders on openings; Reviews resumes and creates candidate pools; Supports interview and selection process

  • Support change and innovative HR services and processes; present change agent ideas on how the function can be more efficient

  • Partners with functional and operational leaders to complete performance management and talent management cycle

  • Administrative duties as necessary

  • Complete annual AAP

  • Monthly HR dashboards tracking and actions

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources, Business, or related field

  • 4 or more years of progressive HR experience.

  • Experience supporting a manufacturing environment is required.

  • Ability to manage multiple, often conflicting, priorities and still deliver results on time.

  • Customer service focus; excellent employee relations, problem solving and conflict resolution experience.

  • Personal integrity; exceptional communications skills; ability to build strong relationships.

  • Ability to work on a variety of problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis and evaluation of various outcomes require tradeoffs and/or coordination across multiple teams.

  • Ability to establish goals and objectives and manage projects to completion.

  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with employee personnel records and confidential matters.

  • Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills and be able to perform tasks under tight deadlines.
