How you'll make a difference?

The National Sales Manager - FITBONE will lead the U.S. commercial launch of FITBONE which includes product planning, education, and sales execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The National Sales Manager - FITBONE will be involved in the identification and presentation of new business opportunities in the respective Product Line. This person will dedicate a large proportion of their time to introducing and supporting training & education of the FITBONE product line in the market, both to HCPs and sales channels.

The person will have contact with surgeons, distributors throughout the U.S, customers, and our sales team and will work in close collaboration with all internal departments, especially with Sales, R&D, Clinical Affairs and Medical Science.

What will your duties and responsibilities be?

The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties and tasks as needed and assigned.

Market Analysis

  • Researches, analyzes and remains informed about competitive products.

  • Supports development of price strategy and competitive pricing/market share analysis.

Product Support

  • Give support in the definition of the product strategy and roadmap according to Corporate Strategy.

  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product.

  • Creates and executes launch plans, contributes to new product designs.

  • Give support in the development and execution of sales tools and collaterals.

  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services and select products and accessories to be displayed at trade or special shows.

  • Formulate, direct and give support to marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and marketing.

  • Supports marketing planning, which includes an analysis of competitive products and selling techniques, consumer research, reimbursement, sales budgets and strategic plans.

  • Utilize customer segmentation and product positioning models to formulate and execute marketing techniques and channel management.

Product Development

  • Consult with R&D on competitive analysis and on product specifications and configurations.

  • Formulate new product proposals, identify and address competitive activity.

  • Identifies, defines and presents new and existing product development opportunities and strategies to management.

  • Actively participates in development of products to meet anticipated market needs and specifications; Refines current product; works with R&D, Engineering, surgeons, and others

Sales Support

  • Prepares, provides product and service support materials to field personnel

  • Support in the identification of new business opportunities in the respective Product Line as well as supports training & education of our products in the market

  • Participates in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services and select products and accessories to be displayed at trade or special shows

  • Coordinates training and education activities for customers and sale forces

  • Coordinate sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing general and local business market factors and trends.

  • Perform product demos to customers

What skills and experience will you need?

Education/Certifications:

  • The candidate will possess a B.A./B.S. degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant undergraduate major.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:

Experience:

  • The National Sales Manager - FITBONE will have 5+ plus years experience in Medical Device sales, education, and/or training, and 5 years experience working collaboratively with operations, sales, and marketing functions. (S)He will have successfully led sales or training teams and will have the proven ability to develop relationships with key customers and opinion leaders. Full knowledge and appreciation of dealing with physicians and other medical professionals, in their workplace and environment.

  • The National Sales Manager - FITBONE should have a track record of working successfully with field sales, marketing, regulatory, quality, and operations teams.

  • Previous work experience must demonstrate significant achievements in meeting and exceeding objectives including but not limited to achieving sales goals, development of medical education and sales training programs, and improved efficiencies in getting products to market. Must be able to create and analyze reports based on data, trends and forecasts.

  • Require indepth knowledge and understanding of the medical marketplace and its dynamics. Interpersonal and human relation skills necessary to deal with highly motivated marketing staff. Full knowledge and appreciation of dealing with physicians and other medical professionals, in their workplace and environment.

  • The candidate will possess the intellectual capability and intuition to anticipate market developments and will develop strategies accordingly. (S)He will be a strong strategic thinker who will keep the company on the cutting edge of emerging technology in its field.

  • The National Sales Manager - FITBONE will lead by example. (S)He will approach work with a passion and urgency that ensures projects are completed in a timely manner. This person will also be attentive to details and will drive accountability across the Extremities sales, medical education, and sales training teams where necessary.

The anticipated salary for this position is$117,000 - $136,000 per year, with commissions based on performance, and benefits.
