Job Description

As an integral member of our dynamic team, the Integration Specialist will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the harmonious integration of diverse systems, ensuring the seamless data flow between internal platforms and external entities such as customers and vendors. Your responsibilities will extend beyond mere connectivity, encompassing a comprehensive approach to monitoring, managing, and optimizing integrations, cross-references, and file processing. In this critical position, you will be at the forefront of enhancing operational efficiency and data accuracy, contributing to the foundation of a robust technological infrastructure that drives the success of our organization. As a strategic facilitator of connectivity, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and uphold our commitment to delivering excellence in every aspect of our integrated systems.

Responsibilities

Integration Monitoring & Cross-Reference Management

  • Proactively monitor and analyze system integrations, ensuring both internal and external connections operate smoothly.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to maintain the reliability and performance of integrations with customers, vendors, and internal systems.
  • Establish and maintain cross-references between different systems, fostering data consistency and accuracy for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate cross-referencing logic, addressing discrepancies and ensuring a unified data experience.

File Processing & Data Entry Management

  • Oversee file processing activities, guaranteeing the timely and accurate exchange of data not only within the organization but also with external partners.
  • Develop and implement file processing protocols to minimize errors and optimize data transfer for both customer and vendor interactions.
  • Address manual data entry requirements when integrations face challenges or cannot be implemented.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to establish efficient manual data entry processes as a temporary measure while working towards integration solutions.

Issue Resolution & Performance Optimization

  • Investigate and resolve integration-related issues promptly, whether they involve internal systems or external partners.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges effectively.
  • Continuously assess and optimize system integrations for improved performance and efficiency across internal and external platforms.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to streamline data flow and processing for both customer-facing and vendor-related integrations.

Documentation, Security & Compliance

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, cross-references, and file processing workflows, ensuring accessibility for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keep documentation up-to-date and relevant to support smooth collaboration with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure that all integrations adhere to security standards and compliance requirements, safeguarding data integrity and privacy for both internal and external interactions.
  • Implement measures to uphold security standards during integration processes with customers, vendors, and other external partners.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and end-users to understand integration requirements and business processes for both internal and external interactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with external vendors and partners to implement and maintain seamless third-party integrations.


Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field desired.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience monitoring and optimizing integrations
  • Microsoft Office(365) Suite skills required

Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of data integration concepts and techniques.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL) and data formats (e.g., XML, JSON).

Work Environment

  • 40-hour work week - hybrid scheduled available once training is completed (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
