Job Description
We create possibilities that move life and commerce forward

Welcome to Manhattan Associates. Our supply chain commerce technology positively affects how people on six continents work, shop and live. If you want to tackle complex problems, push limits and redefine what's possible, you've come to the right place.

Are you passionate about designing for large enterprise applications? Do you believe that good design solutions start with a well-defined problem? We're looking for a Principal Product Designer to tackle complex problems in a collaborative way. At Manhattan Associates, you'll have the opportunity to work on multiple B2B products and help shape the user experience in ways that solve meaningful problems, keeping inclusivity and accessibility in mind, and make life better for all our users and customers.

About the Role

  • Work with cross-functional product leadership to craft, refine, implement, and communicate product design vision and strategy.
  • Effectively communicate and evangelize design thinking throughout the organization
  • Be a relentless advocate for our users. Let their needs guide us to the best solutions that make their jobs easier.
  • Collaborate closely with product and technology experts in an agile environment.
  • Deliver innovative design experiences for our products to drive up customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the delivery of a consistent user experience across the product in a fast-paced environment.
  • Immerse yourself in all aspects of end-to-end experience design, including using storyboards, journey maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas and direction.
  • Take ownership of your work and responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way.
  • Explore ideas, persuade others, and build consensus on fast-moving projects with varying degrees of ambiguity

Job Requirements

  • Master's or foreign equivalent degree in HCI/Interaction Design, Applied Arts or a related technical, design or business field
  • 5+ years of experience designing and delivering products from start to finish, as part of a cross-functional team (In lieu of a Master's degree and 5 years' experience, will accept a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in a related technical, design or business field plus 8 years' experience.)
  • Showcase a deep knowledge of user-centered design principles and methodologies. Help mentor emerging designers to apply those principles and methods in practice.
  • Demonstrate the desire to continually improve on processes
  • Ability to refine your designs through user feedback, user research, contextual interviews, and competitive/analogous research throughout the product design & development journey.
  • 3 years of experience designing enterprise-level web applications from a UI/UX perspective for supply chain, retail, ecommerce, or complex B to B or B to C solutions is a plus.

Please submit a compelling portfolio exemplifying your design skills, design strategy and industry experience along with resume/CV for consideration.
