Responsible for the communication and relationship maintenance with Insurance Carriers, General Agents, Retail Insurance Brokers and Insureds to resolve balances on finance agreements as well as achieve targets regarding account resolution, quality and other performance targets. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
* Manage assigned portfolio, keeping current on follow-up communication due.
* Within assigned portfolio, responsible for tracking and noting return premium, unearned commission, and deficiency balances due USP.
* Use diplomacy and tact when interacting with others within team environment, assisting teammates and sharing knowledge/information.
* Develop and maintain client relations through superior service
* Receptive to training/performance improvement.
* Communicate via phone (65%) and email (35%), documenting activities in a concise, informative and clear manner
* Utilize in-house web-based system (FinancePro) to keep accurate and current notes on all accounts within portfolio.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
* Excellent written and oral communication
* Ability to develop and maintain client relationships while collecting on money due USPF
* Efficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to adhere to schedule
* Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred
Industry and Work Experience:
* 2 - 5 years of experience in commercial collections
* 1 - 3 years of insurance industry experience preferred
Academic:
* High School Diploma/GED
* Bachelor's Degree preferred
