Job Description

We are looking for candidates who have a background in Agency/Loan Operations who are interested in moving from a back-office role to a middle office position. This role is unique as it works closely with both the operations and front office teams to ensure adherence to global and federal regulations as well as operational execution within Core Lending. Candidates who are interested in learning the entire process of deal execution for corporate debt should apply.

You and Your Job

A WST Associate's purpose is to collaborate with the Front Office by providing assistance with adhering to global and federal regulations, driving operational excellence through pre-closing and post-closing support, and liaising with global internal teams to provide solutions for seamless deal execution.

The Wholesale Client Support Team (WST) Associate assists the Front Office Corporate and Product teams in the pre-closing and closing phase of a transaction. After closing, they are responsible for monitoring all actions that are required to maintain the portfolio of transactions. The WST Associate must be a team player, work independently, champion change, and assist members of the team. They should work to master the current procedures and processes so they can look for ways to enhance their overall effectiveness and way of working. The candidate should have excellent communication skills in dealing with external and internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the internal approval process and external documentation process (including doc review) for transaction renewals and amendments.
  • Maintaining a direct dialogue with clients and bank participants regarding transaction deals, operational issues and upcoming amendments, including arranging and conducting business due diligence reviews.
  • Identifying changes in the requirements for transactions, based on developments in the regulatory environment and internal capital/liquidity models.
  • Creating a client service environment, building relationships, arranging annual visits to ensure Rabobank is providing premier customer service support to our client franchise.
  • Liaise with members of Corporate Clients and Support teams (Operations (incl. Client Onboarding), Compliance, Risk, Legal and Finance) to ensure an efficient, effective and sustainable support model for our franchise.

  • 5 Years of Banking Operations experience
  • Understanding of Syndicated Loan Documentation
  • Bachelors' degree or the equivalent in experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel regionally, up to 15%

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $105,000.00 - $165,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]'s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
