Job Description
The Electro-Mechanical Technician - 3 is responsible for the day-to-day operation, troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on AGV, SRM, AMR, DMS and Conveyor systems. Acts as a Operator and Repair Technician on all equipment that is installed at our Fairburn Ga, location. The position is 5 pm to 5 am on a rotating Schedule.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $27.00 to $29.00 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Perform: Operations, fault resolution, repair and maintenance of Storage Retrieval Machines, Automated Guided Vehicles, Conveyors, Multi Shuttles, and other Automated and manually operated Material Handling Equipment (MHE) .

  • Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.

  • Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.

  • Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.

  • Troubleshoot semi-complex problems to the Root Cause and understand and utilize the correct resources needed to resolve.

  • Locate and track spare parts from inventory.

  • Performs routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.

  • Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations.

What We Are Looking For

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Typically, an Associate degree or vocational technical training preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred.

  • Demonstrate a general knowledge of a technical or specialty area.

  • Proven experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.

  • Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.

  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.

  • Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.

  • Have functional dexterity in both hands and wrists.

  • Comfortable working at high elevations and able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.

  • Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.

  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 12 hours.

  • Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.
