Job Description

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two (2) or more years of direct experience:
    • Working as Scrum Master or Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist
    • Facilitating efforts to build, groom, and define project backlog tasking
    • Facilitating Agile meetings, to include stand ups, sprint review, increment planning, etc.
    • Liaison with product owners, technical leads, and customers to understand, prioritize and track team activities and deliverables
  • Self-starter who can lead and execute process improvement efforts
  • Ability to develop and document processes and workflows using Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), System Modeling Language (SysML) or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively communicate via oral, and written communications with senior management and technical staff
  • Must have a Secret clearance

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or other technical discipline
  • Knowledge of Test Planning, Test Management, Test Execution, and automation
  • Knowledge of Digital Engineering / Model Based Systems Engineering practices
  • Experience working with technical Requirements on military systems
  • Ability to provide Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile and Scrum training and coaching
  • Knowledge of Tactical Radios commonly used in within the Navy or other DoD agencies
  • Experience with RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, power meters and network analyzers
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office 365 (Planner, SharePoint) or Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) suites
  • Self-starter who can support and continually improve processes within multiple Agile teams

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs ongoing lead scrum master duties for 1-3 teams
  • Leads continual process improvement efforts for multiple teams' Agile processes
  • Works with team leads and subject matter experts to create backlogs, assist with task breakdowns
  • Assists with the development and documentation of agile processes and workflows
  • Develops reports, briefs, and other accompanying documentation needed for stakeholders
  • Enforces processes within the team and follow up with individual contributors and leads when deviations to the process occur
  • Utilizes both written and verbal communications skills, and ability to work well in a team environment
