***Preferred local to Maui. Position is open to remote; however, travel as needed is required.***

Candidate provides key data to management to update construction project status and impact on overall project performance. Scheduling includes work at the estimate level, short interval and project master scheduling. Develop work breakdown structures, resource, cost and budget plans. Update master and subproject plans and dependencies with new information as changes occur, e.g. timelines and delays. Duties of this position also may involve project cost control work, requiring the ability to work with and understand budgets, coding, man hour performance systems and reports, and other elements of overall project monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and keeps current master construction project schedules as well as sub project schedules for monitoring and tracking the requirements, and stays abreast of changes to the requirements. Provides information as needed on the content, modification, or presentation of the project schedule.
  • Identifies and records the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled. Evaluate actual construction progress and provide regular schedule updates.
  • Interfaces with contractor Project Managers/ Project Controls, and Subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems.
  • Contributes to the development of working schedules for Estimating, prior to proposal date, which sufficiently illustrates the sequence of work activities and contract time.
  • Prepares and issues detailed schedule analyses.
  • Incorporates resource and/or cost loading data into schedules as required.
  • Serves as technical advisor for the solution of difficult construction problems.
  • Consults the appropriate project team members to ensure estimating procedures as a means of ensuring that proper planning is completed prior to the commencement of work.
  • Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
    • 3-5 years of experience in the design, construction or consulting industry.
    • Sound knowledge of schedule systems, principles and practices required.
    • Working knowledge of computer scheduling programs (i.e. Primavera P6) and schedule analysis program (i.e. Acumen Fuse) is required.
    • Must be able to build and maintain accurate and up-to-date complex construction schedules working with multiple calendars.
    • Experience managing multiple projects and pulling together multiple schedules into a master schedule and/or interfacing with other teams managing different schedules.
    • Is able to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
    • Consistently demonstrates a high attention to detail.
    • Must have the ability to work collaboratively with all team members and stakeholders, and the ability to work independently and take direction from supervisor.
    • Excellent written and oral skills are required, and experience in working in a fast-paced analytical environment is preferred.
    • Must be in proximity of project location as client requires
    • Travel to project location if not local to project
    • Must be a US Citizen
