Responsibilities
* Capable of translating business priorities into HR programs, processes and initiatives that drive value and meet the business needs. * Serves as the first point of contact and first-line communications to leaders and team members regarding general human resources related questions/issues providing accurate and appropriate information or guidance or escalating as appropriate. * Consult with department leaders on a broad range of human resource issues, including talent planning, career mobility, retention, engagement, work actions, performance management and other related areas focused on developing a high-performance team. * Coach leaders to accelerate leadership effectiveness by applying the leadership skill set to include how to develop and implement engaging work environments and proper HR processes. * Oversees Benefits Program including the company's health and welfare plans, specifically the medical, dental, life, disability, 401(k) benefit plans, FSA, and COBRA. * Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action and human resources. * Understand, apply, and teach retention concepts to attract, motivate and retain employees. * Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; obtaining qualified opinions when necessary; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
