Description

The Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) leader, will be the subject matter expert for all variables of
the process, including demand and supply/capacity/production planning while supporting various
projects including aggregation of monthly demand/supply plans, consumption models, network
and production strategy optimization, integration of new businesses, and new product launches.
This leader facilitates each SIOP meeting to ensure the team is aligned on the execution plan to
meet or exceed set business targets. The SIOP Leader may also need to lead technical initiatives
within multiple ERP systems to improve planning process capabilities.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

* Establish/Support the Global SIOP function across the Medical organization.
o Lead and facilitate all monthly SIOP meetings and reviews, ensuring the
participation and alignment of all stakeholders across four business units.
o Analyze and consolidate the demand and supply data, identify gaps and risks,
and propose alternative scenarios and solutions to meet plan.
o Own the Executive SIOP reviews, ensuring executive alignment on execution plan.
* Support monthly demand forecast aggregation, including consensus between functions
and stakeholders.
* Assist in analyzing external demand profiles to be translated into Master Scheduling and
the MRP system to accurately drive material supply for production requirements.
* Assist with the coordination, facilitation, and documentation of regularly scheduled
demand and supply planning meetings.
* Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) of forecast accuracy for both the
demand and supply.
* Identify current planned level of demand and create tactical production plans to meet the
identified customer demand.
* Assist in the assessment and communication of commercial lead times based on internal
operational structure to enable end market lead time expectations.
* Assist production teams on establishing measures to monitor and adjust capacity to
execute flexible manufacturing schedules.
* Work with global site leaders and value stream managers to ensure adequate translation
of long-term plan into short term plan.
* Continually review material management, forecasting, and procurement processes to
drive efficiency and continuous cost improvements.
* Translate short to long term execution plans into projected NWC impact for the business.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in related business or technology field
* M.B.A. or other advanced technical degree strongly preferred
* 7+ years' experience in material management, procurement and/or scheduling with
extensive demonstrated success of implementing and operationalizing complex master
schedules across value streams.
* Must be able to analyze planning and purchasing requirements for electronic and/or
mechanical applications.
* APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or APICS Certified
Supply chain Professional (CSCP) a plus.
* Lean or Green Belt Six Sigma certification a plus.
* Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, able to synthesize considerable and complex
data.
* Strong financial acumen with experience in inventory management.
* Various ERP and MS Excel spreadsheet expertise in managing procurement and planning
analytics.
* Solid, proven organizational, project management and leadership skills.
* Exceptional verbal and interpersonal/written communication skills; can effectively interact
with all levels of management, providing visibility and transparency of the SIOP process
and outcomes.
* Strong PC skills (Excel, PP, Word, Access, Minitab).
* Demonstrated ability to influence teams and programs regarding quality, productivity
and/or customer service.
* Ability to work on multiple projects with limited direction.
* Solid working knowledge of MRP with working knowledge of D365 preferred.
* Overall understanding of a manufacturing company's operations.
* Maximum of 25% travel required
