Supervisor, General Ledger (Remote)
Full time, US

As Supervisor, G/L, you will help lead the Accounting team. You will coordinate the work of a number of accountants in one or more core functions of accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general ledger. This position ensures procedures are in place to provide for the timely and accurate payment of invoices, for processing receivables in a timely manner, and to assure accurate and timely month-end / year-end journal entry submission. You will be responsible for ensuring adequate financial controls are followed to support the integrity of the accounting system and safeguard the company's assets.

As Supervisor, G/L, you will

  • Review/prepare journal entries and aid the monthly close process
  • Review/prepare account reconciliations, continuously working to streamline and automate the reconciliation process
  • Assist AP/AR Manager with review of processes as needed
  • Supervise and coach direct reports and staff
  • Assist in reviewing audit support
  • Continuously improve processes to minimize costs

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field
  • Five years experience in general accounting
  • Proficiency with ERPs, Peoplesoft and/or SAP preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Accounting under IFRS (International Accounting Standards) preferred

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Supervisor, G/L is between $65,000 and $70,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
