  • Estimated annual base pay: $79,300.00 - 99,100.00 - 118,900.00 USD Annual

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Senior Financial Analyst , we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position reports to a leader within the finance organization. Responsibilities include performing financial analysis with a primary focus on new product financial viability and business support in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and business needs. As a finance member of the new product introduction team, you will help financially evaluate new technology and the products being proposed to our customers.

This position allows you to work in dynamic team setting collaborating with several functional areas across multiple plants, and present financial analysis recommendations to our management team. This is a great opportunity to learn new Woodward products and the financial cases that help keep Woodward profitable. Your ability to be a proactive, engaged, problem solving team member will provide great visibility for future opportunities!

What You Will Be Doing

* Analyze financial information - historical, prospective or hypothetical - to provide insights for the business regarding its performance, support business decisions, and plans for the future 0%

* Successfully partner and communicate effectively with stakeholders to gain understanding of their needs and to convey and interpret the results of financial analysis 0% * Prepare formal financial presentation material that is to be delivered by finance and other leaders of the business 0%

* Develop and maintain financial models used for decision support, such as those used in the product life cycle process, capital expenditure justifications, and make vs. buy decisions 0%

* Identify and drive continuous improvement and six sigma projects representing the finance organization 0%

* Represent the broader interests of the finance team by maintaining a general understanding of financial accounting, income taxes, treasury, and internal audit and driving appropriate consultation within and beyond finance

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor degree- Accounting, Finance or Economics - for U.S. For International - Bachelors, Professional or University degree required

  • MBA, Post-graduate or Masters degree preferred

  • 2-5 years experience covering a broad range of financial analysis activities conducted at a high level of complexity, including progressively more complex assignments or projects

  • CPA, CMA, CIMA, ACCA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent

  • Some travel may be required
