Job Description
The Resident Maintenance Shift Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day Operations, troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance for Automated equipment to include SRM, AGV, AMR, Mult -shuttles, Pallet and Package conveyors and their subsystems. They act as the senior hands-on technician for all equipment that is installed at the Fairburn Ga site. They will provide Supervision and Mentoring for employees. The Shift rotates 4.5 days one week and 2.5 days on week two. Two day positions 5am to 5pm and two night positions 5pm to 5am. are being filled.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $37.50 to $39.50 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do in This Role

  • Lead, coordinate, and direct all functions of their report staff.

  • Perform at professional level to interpret/process more complex, less-clearly defined issues.

  • Identify and resolve complex problems, to include Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic systems.

  • Define workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships to gain optimum effectiveness.

  • Evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures within their area of responsibility and communicate to Management.

  • Identify resource needs and will develop justification.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.

What We Are Looking For

  • Associates degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience.

  • 5 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities.

  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley or equivalent PLC controls platforms, Device Net, ASI, PROFIBUS, Ethernet, or equivalent network communications platforms.

  • Electrical troubleshooting skills to include wiring, AC/DC power, AC/DC motors, electrical drawings/schematics, and control panels.

  • Servo Drives, PC controllers, DC power supplies, optical devices (i.e., encoders, photo eyes, etc.)

  • Knowledge of automated equipment; preferably automated material handling systems.

  • Mechanical experience.

  • Familiarity with Lean Principles (4-Step Problem Solve, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)

  • Able to gauge, identify, and implement training based on skill assessment results.

  • Able to track and measure KPIs, evaluating data to drive improvement.
