Program Overview

The CLS Leadership program is a three-year rotational program based in Peachtree City, GA that focuses on developing early talent that can become future leaders in our Customer Experience organization. Each participate will have the opportunity to learn how each department operates and will become fluent in their respective tools and processes used to service our customers. Through these various assignments, you will learn the fundamental building blocks of how our business operates and what it takes to be the best in our industry. One on one mentorship with our leadership team will ensure you have the right guidance to be successful in your next assignment. Upon graduation from the program, you will have a broad understanding of our business strategies and the right skill sets to be a future leader in our organization.

As an LDP in our technical Customer Experience organization you will have the opportunity to rotate through the roles below. Each assignment will be tailored to your specific skillsets and where you can add the most value. You will collaborate directly with your sponsor to determine your second and third assignments.

  • Controls or Lighting Applications Design & Engineering
  • Field Quality Engineering
  • Field Services
  • Project Management
  • Technical Support

What you'll do

Controls or Lighting Applications Design & Engineering:

  • Review electrical job specifications to provide a customized controls or lighting solution based on project plans, riser drawings, fixture schedules, panel schedules, and power plans.
  • Generate custom wiring diagrams and submittal packages using computer aided design software.

Field Quality Engineering:

  • Solve complex warranty claims by working with our network of sales agents to gather information, replicate failure mode and collaborate internally to drive resolution of problem.
  • Travel to jobsites for field analysis as needed

Field Services:

  • Travel to active construction sites and program the lighting control systems to meet the customers control intent.
  • Provide onsite end-user training at the conclusion of commissioning.

Project Management:

  • Work with project stakeholders (ex: our channel partners, electrical contractors, engineers, customers & internal functional teams) to establish project deliverables, schedules, make recommendations while managing the logistics, cost, schedule & project scope
  • Work with Field Services team to ensure timely and accurate completion of the lighting control system

commissioning & training

Technical Support:

  • Provide advanced technical support to key stakeholders both internally & externally and handle inbound and outbound telephone calls and emails while maintaining minimal queue backlog. Effectively communicate technical solutions and provide replacement part ordering information.
  • Work cross functionally with marketing & engineering to develop solutions and update product artifacts

What you'll need

  • B.S. degree in Design or Engineering from an accredited institution (completing in May/June 2024 or recent graduate)
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship
